Primary Services:

Description:

Outpatient substance abuse services for individuals suffering from alcohol or drug related problems and their family members. Individual and family assessments, referrals for detox and other treatments. Short and long term treatment groups, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) group, individual and family therapy. Intensive outpatient with medical enhancement. Opiate recovery program including suboxone treatment.

Women's Services through ongoing early intervention, case management, vocational placement services, HIV assessment, counseling, and linkage to ECMC AIDS Services.

Expanded culturally sensitive services for Gay and Lesbians, African American men and women, older/seniors, Hispanics, and others.

Outpatient services for individuals arrested for DWI offenses, both short and long term intervention and treatment groups. Involvement of families encouraged with treatment services provided through the Downtown Clinic at the same location.

Length of program is 3-9 months.

Presentations to agencies, community education/training.

Hours:

Monday-Thursday, 8:30am-7:00pm; Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm.

Eligibility:

Anyone with alcohol or substance abuse related problems.
