Description:

Al-Anon Family Groups (AFG) & Alateen Groups, Adult Children of Alcoholics Groups (ACOA).

Support group for anyone whose lives have been affected by the drinking of a family member or friend.

Al-Anon meetings are closed except where labeled “open” meetings. Closed meetings are support groups held for people who feel they have been affected by someone else’s drinking. Conventions, anniversaries, speaker meetings, etc. are open meetings where anyone is allowed to attend to obtain information about alcoholism.
